It’s a stormy day around Brandenburg. Some time ago, when the Habsburgs still ruled and Wilhelm had only recently ascended to power. Turmoil and the threat of Chaos spread all through out the Empire. Many of the nobility of Germany had turned their backs against the Habsburgs and their rule. Prussia was one of the few remaining allies to the Emperor. Wilhelm awaited, in the great hall, the arrival of a cousin to the Emperor. They had much to discuss.

The Prince-Archbishop's carriage rolled up to the City Palace, the longtime Berlin residence of the Hohenzollern dynasty, after a lengthy and, at times, perilous journey from the city of Mainz. Klaus Josef emerged from the coach with the assistance of his driver, whom he immediately shoed away once his feet were firmly on the ground. His Eminence's bright red vestments contrasted starkly with the austere Prussian cityscape.

"It is very kind of Your Highness to receive me, particularly during these... most troubling of times. Vienna, Hamburg, Munich, Cologne, and in every city of the Empire, the streets are filled with flag waving rabble-rousers!" the Prince-Archbishop grumbled, distressed the situation.

“I’ve heard of the troubles. Seems the Habsburgs have reached the end of their rope.” *Hohenzollern said as he offered the Archbishop a seat and drink.*
